5 Simple Steps to go from Idea to Bestseller

  1. PREPARE & DESIGN

Discover how to identify the appropriate book goals for your unique situation and match that with the right book idea that's really going to reach your audience and attract the right opportunities for you.

  2. WRITE

Contrary to popular belief, the best way to write a book is not to just try and sit down and write it. Here you'll learn our popular "Chunk-it" writing system that allows you to write your manuscript in as little as a weekend. We'll even go over outsourcing, ghostwriters, dictation and other ways to get your book done if you aren't the type to want to write it yourself.

  3. EDIT

Alright, you've been working with the other authors in the group and writing your manuscript using our plan. It's done! Now it's time for polishing. First you'll learn how to properly self-edit, then we'll go into professional editing and making sure your book is top notch. Did you know your book can be self-published yet stand up against any book published by any other big publisher? We're going to show you how to do it.

  4. PUBLISH

Did you know that Amazon is the largest seller of books in the world? It's time to use them for your advantage. We're going to set your book up to dominate the charts in Amazon. We'll also make sure any book format you chose (ebook, print, audio) is available for your readers. If you're going the off-set printing route, we'll show you how to find the right printer and fulfillment services for that as well.

  5. Launch & SHARE WITH THE WORLD!

If you write it, they will come. That's so not true! We just don't want you to have a "book," we want an asset! This means we have to properly plan for how you are going to reach your audience and continue to make sales for the life of your book. Our first goal is always your first 1000 copies, but we're also going to show you how to position your book for revenue generation even with low numbers of sales!

Zarinah El-Amin is an award-winning Detroit based anthropologist who helps mission-driven luminaries create cultural change through programs, businesses, experiences and products that feed their pockets, their soul and the world.

She has written multiple books, presented and served clients all over the world, appeared on NPR, FOX, and in several print media.

She is knownfor taking an author’s idea and bringing the book to fruition in a beautiful, holistic way.   How long will it take me to publish my book?

It all boils down to your commitment and time allocation. We, at Book Power Publishing can help you finish your book in as little as 90 days, given you follow our process and give required time to reach this goal.

  How do I begin with my first book if I have multiple ideas?

We recommend you share your top 3 book ideas, and we will help you determine which one you should move forward with. We have a very detailed process to help you identify your most profitable book idea.

  Is my book idea and work protected?

Yes, everything you share with us is protected under our privacy and service policy. We do not share your information or book idea with anyone as part of our commitment to your work.

  Will my book be published electronically or traditionally?

It depends on your inclination and goals about your book, but we do help our authors with both electronic and traditional publishing, as well as audio-books at times.

  Can I register for a 1-on-1 session if I've drafted my book? 

Yes, you can register for a 1-on-1 session with our mentors even if you have written a portion of your book. The purpose of these sessions is to help you polish your material before it goes for publishing.

  Can you design my book if I have already finished writing?

Yes, as a stand-alone service, our design team will help format your book and help you with with an eye-catching cover-art that speaks about the message you are trying to deliver with your book.

  Will you help me market my book after it gets published?

Yes! Our Power Author Academy covers all aspects regarding marketing and how you can get booked even before your book gets published. Our marketing team will help you create the hype about your book.

  Do I need a finished draft?

No, you do not need a finished draft to begin with your book idea. We help our authors write their first draft if they have not already written it, but if you have a draft, we can skip this and move straight into planning and editing your book.

  Do you help with fiction work?

Sometimes! This is because our full programs are geared towards non-fiction, but fiction authors sometimes use our design and publishing services, as well.

We're more focused towards bringing in ideas and messages from entrepreneurs, creatives, coaches and planet shakers, who intend to write a book that can make a difference in their readers lives, while also leaving a legacy and an impact in their respective industry of profession.

  Do I need to be a good writer?

No! You do not need to be a good writer to write a book about your expertise. Our editors will help polish your draft into a complete book when you enroll in our academy.

  How much time should I dedicate?

It depends on your goals with the book and how soon you want it published. Generally, we give each project an average of 6 months and our coaches recommend giving at-least 1-hour a day to accomplish your book within a year.
